It started with two women- one behind a keyboard the other with boots on the ground after a flood devastated the Texas Hill Country. With a few days we added two integral moderators and assembled a team of thoughtful, skilled volunteers.

We became a heart - led community of 42K strong, over 1 million views in under two week, thousands of items and countless reunions. Our goal is to recover, preserve and reunite personal effects lost after disaster.
