FOUND on the Guadalupe River is a 100-page, full-color hardcover collection of original photography and poetry written in the aftermath of the Fourth of July flood.
These poems were written as the story unfolded—in laundromats and warehouses, on long drives home, and in the quiet hours after days spent recovering, cleaning, identifying, and returning what the river left behind. Writing became a place for me to set down what the heart could not continue carrying alone.
Together, the photographs and poems bear witness to loss, love, exhaustion, hope, and the extraordinary tenderness of a community caring for one another.
This First Edition is an 8 × 8-inch hardcover, created as both a record of this extraordinary period and a remembrance of the people, places, and precious things held within it.
